What do we
actually do here?

We sell CUTCO Cutlery.

Our sales representatives meet one-on-one with potential customers in-person. The sales rep's job is to show CUTCO and help those customers find the perfect set that fits their needs. Most people buy, but some don't. And, that's okay. We give our sales reps a guaranteed commission each time they show CUTCO to a qualified potential customer whether the customer buys or not. Our reps receive a guaranteed base pay of $22 when they show CUTCO to a qualified potential customer. So they get paid whether or not the customer purchases.

While each day is different, daily

activities include:

    •    Scheduling appointments with potential customers.

    •    Presenting CUTCO products to a customer in their home. 

    •    Filling out and submitting order forms to the local office.

    •    Reviewing sales performance with a local office manager.

    •    Attending a weekly team meeting.

"What is
it like?"

Because our reps are independent contractors, they enjoy real flexibility and control over their own schedules. They set their own appointments based on their availability day-by-day.

"What is the scheduling like?"

The Local Program is for anyone that is accepted to work with Cutco currently living in the Mobile metro or Bay area. If you

are hired to work with us, you would come to our office to be trained on our local program. 

This program is going to consist of going to clients’ residences and doing in-home presentations. You will start out with people you know and then our training programs will teach you how to get referrals and recommendations. We do this because we don’t want young adults doing door to door, telemarketing, or cold calling.

Security with the base rate ($22), opportunity to make much more through incentives.

Our reps receive a guaranteed base pay when they show CUTCO to a qualified potential customer. So they get paid whether or not the customer purchases. Our reps are not pushy, and we don't want them to be. The guaranteed base pay takes the pressure off our reps so they never have to be rude or forceful with potential customers.

But, you ask, "How can they pay reps when a sale is not made?" Great question. Since most people who see CUTCO choose to purchase at least one knife, we can create a safety net for all of our reps. We want to encourage and provide incentives to our reps to put themselves out there and try to make a sale. You're not always going to make a sale with a potential customer, and that's ok.

While our reps are guaranteed to make a base pay each time they show CUTCO, they can earn more than what's guaranteed through incentives from completing a sale. Additionally, we pay on a weekly basis, so you'll receive earnings for your hard work at the end of each work week.

Being a part of our team is fun.

We're professionals, but we try not to take ourselves too seriously.

Whether you're on a demo with a new CUTCO customer or meeting other reps at a Vector conference, our reps and managers work hard and play hard.

Since each office is independently run by a District or Branch Manager, no office is exactly the same.

But no matter who you are or what you enjoy doing, we want you to be yourself and have fun while you're working with us
